Being a smaller school has its advantages at times, including still being able to hold our Annual Pet Day and Prize Giving and being able to have parents attend whilst still remaining within the Covid 19 restrictions.
This year we did not bring our pets to school but we took photos of them and did a Vitual Pet Day. We cut back on our normal activities but the children still got to take part in several craft making rotations – including making bees wax wraps, decortaing their christmas trees and decorating cup cakes.
Thanks to the parent helpers that not only helped with running some of the activities but the mums and dads that did some much needed caretaking jobs while they were waiting!
We are so lucky to have such an awesome, caring whanau based community that all work together for our tamariki!
